Vision Logistical Solutions Ltd is a specialist logistics service provider, operating in sectors of commerce and industry where out of the ordinary solutions are required.

We are currently looking for Multi Drop Delivery Drivers within our York Depot due to business growth. Required on a permanent, full-time basis, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week scheduled between the hours of 6am-6pm.

As a professional Multi-drop driver with Vision, you will be issued with branded uniform and be entrusted with one of our Mercedes Sprinters or VW Crafter vans. Your responsibilities will include daily vehicle safety checks, loading & unloading of vehicles and usually between 30 - 45 Multi-Drop Deliveries per day, utilising our bespoke hand-held technology.

You will work closely with the wider logistics operations team and other departments in the depot, particularly the warehouse operations and the operations office and take pride in providing the very best in Logistical solutions for our customers.

Previous multi-drop delivery experience and a full driving license (with maximum of 6 penalty points for minor offences only) is required. Good geographical/road network knowledge of Yorkshire is an advantage.

**Key activities**:

- Ensure that items are properly stacked and secured inside the delivery vehicle
- Take delivery instructions from supervisors
- Chart out appropriate route for delivery on the map or GPS
- Maintain proper knowledge of loaded items
- Ensure that appropriate and complete documentation is available at the time of loading
- Drive vehicle to the point of delivery by using the best possible route
- Make sure that speed limits are adhered to
- Ensure that the vehicle’s paperwork is in order
- Assist in unloading items off the vehicle in a safe manner
- Ensure that delivery receipts are signed
- Fill in pertinent information such as mileage and delivery time in company provided log books
- Check vehicle for possible wear and tear and safety issues
- Ensure that both general and preventative maintenance measures are performed on the vehicle
- Top up vehicle fluids on a regular basis or when needed
- Clean vehicle from the inside and the outside
- Perform diagnosis and troubleshooting activities on vehicle when needed
- Ensure that the delivery schedule is followed
- Be polite and friendly to all customers and at all times

**Salary**: £23,462.40-£23,816.00 per year
