**World Class Defence Organisation based in Stevenage is currently looking to recruit a Business Process Development Consultant on an initial 8 month contract. This role will be approximately 3 days onsite and the rest working from home.**

**Hourly Rate**:£60.00ph

**Contract Duration**:8 Months (initially and then ongoing and long-term thereafter)

**Business Process Developer ConsultantJob Description**:
The Business Process Developer for Airborne System Integration (ASI) will be responsible for defining the processes that will enable the sector to operate effectively. The role will be reporting into the Head of Programmes - ASI.

The Airborne Systems Integration sector is responsible for the strategically important role of ensuring and delivering weapon system capability installed on military aircraft.

This function is essential to enabling access to wider markets and is critical to ensuring excellent whole-system capability for the company's products. The Team has very broad interaction with customers, from end users, front line commands and procurementagencies.

Furthermore, the team works with other aircraft industries, particular platform organisations such as BAE Systems, to ensure weapon system integration meets the domestic and future customer requirements. The roles within the team offer exceptional levelsof visibility to the wider business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review ASI's current processes, written and (not written)
- Highlight gaps and communicate findings
- Generate improvements, write new processes and amend exiting processes
- Pilot and test processes with end users
- Support improvement initiatives by generating accompanying process improvements

**Skillset/experience required**:

- Experience of business process development in a project delivery environment
- Educated to HNC/HND but preferably Degree level or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication; both written & oral and networking skills
- Understanding of defence industry is preferable but not essential
- Energy, drive, and commitment
- Ability to proactively engage with stakeholders and has the ability to operate with autonomy.
