Osborne Appointments are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Stevenage
The working hours would be 40 per week
Rate would be £10.50 per hour, £21,840 per annum with overtime available at 1.5x

**Key Tasks & Responsibilities for **PCB Technician in the Wet Process Area.

**Job Purpose**:
To complete basic maintenance duties and to operate PCB production equipment as part of the manufacturing cycle at various stages of WIP using both additive and subtractive technology. The position at times involves performing a variety of complex operationswith critical set up of parameters required for high technology products.

To ensure the effective running and control of the process, to maintain
departmental and Quality targets/goals/metrics whist maintaining safe working
practices.

Ensuring that where required or documented, the products will conform to the required in house, IPC, Aerospace, Military or individual customer standards and specifications by following predefined methods, procedures, and policies.

**Personnel attributes**:

- Maintenance of a clean and professional image
- Good visual awareness is required, the ability to follow documented procedures including detailed work.
- Maintenance of good timekeeping and work order flow through the Wet Process Department.
- Work on own initiative, using your experience and judgment to ensure compliance to procedures and instructions.
- Have a ‘can do’ attitude towards tasks and responsibilities to become an effective member of the Wet Process manufacturing team.

**Education and Skills Required**:

- 1-2-years’ experience working within any manufacturing environment is preferred, ideally within the electronics/aerospace industry but not essential as training will be provided by the company for the right applicant.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills are required.
- Basic Computer literacy would be advantageous (MS Windows and ERP software).
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Good eyesight and attention to detail.
