**Salary**: Scale 5 £26,421 to £28,770 per annum

An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Officer to join our busy and respected Finance Team.

You will supervise two Finance Assistants and, as a team, be responsible for promptly and accurately raising the Authority’s debtors and paying its creditors. You will also be responsible for the completion of a range of financial reconciliations and for supporting other finance team members in the provision of financial information, completion of returns and preparation of the budget.

To join our team, you’ll need to have:

- AAT or equivalent
- Experience of working within a financial environment and evidence of providing excellent customer service
- Experience of working with large financial ledger systems
- Experience of Creditors and Debtors
- Good ICT skills including the use of Microsoft Excel and Word

This is a fast paced environment requiring flexibility and a strong focus on team work, support and prioritisation in order to meet tight deadlines.
