We are looking for a Patient Partnership Coordinator for the highly successful Edinburgh Patient Partnership in Assessment and Teaching (EPPSAT) programme.

Applications are invited from Registered Nurses with recent clinical experience who are interested in working with a dedicated programme of volunteer patients to support the delivery of high quality assessment and teaching to medical students and postgraduate trainees.

Edinburgh Medical School: Medical Education is based in the Chancellor’s Building at Little France and sits within the College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine [CMVM]. It was created in 2017 following the integration of the organisation and academic development of the MBChB curriculum, following the launch of the six year MBChB programme. Medical Education works in partnership with academic and NHS staff, educational technologists, and administrative colleagues to ensure our undergraduate medical programme meets the standards laid down by the General Medical Council and the Quality Assurance Agency, and goes beyond these requirements to deliver a world-class education. Core activities include curriculum development, faculty development and educational research as well as meeting the highest standards for delivery of the curriculum and improvement to the student experience. In addition the postgraduate Masters in clinical education and international consultancy and projects contribute to excellence in clinical education locally and beyond.
