Join Our Team as a Road Logistics Customer Service Specialist Are you ready to embark on a journey that combines your passion for exceptional customer service with the dynamic world of Road Logistics? We're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team on a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) with exciting opportunities for extension.
- ** Your Role **:As a Road Logistics Customer Service Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in orchestrating the seamless movement of goods and delivering top-notch service to our clients and partners.
- ** Your Responsibilities**:

- To efficiently process bookings from clients and overseas agents on to the system.
- Provide operational support for the Freight Account Managers when required.
- To liaise with all relevant parties throughout the shipment to organise the movement of goods
- To deal with any issues that may arise during a shipment and ensure the client and/or Freight Account Manager is updated
- To process sales and purchase invoices of the branch
- Working at all times to enable and develop a team culture
- Completing any reasonable task requested of you by your supervisor/manager in a timely manner.
- When deemed necessary, aiding in the completion of other departmental work to ensure efficiency and
effectiveness of the department as a whole to ensure customer service, internal or external, is continually maintained

**Your Skills and Experiences**:

- Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with clients, overseas agents, and internal teams.
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor while addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues.
- Empathy and patience when dealing with challenging situations to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Proficient in using computer systems, software, and tools relevant to logistics operations and customer service.
- Attention to Detail:Meticulous and accurate in data entry, documentation, and order processing to prevent errors and discrepancies.
Ability to review and analyze information to ensure shipment details are accurate and complete.
- Capability to maintain orderly records, track shipments, and follow established procedures.
- Problem-Solving:Aptitude for identifying and resolving issues that may arise during shipments, finding practical solutions, and taking appropriate actions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Freight Account Managers and cross-functional teams to provide seamless customer service and support.
