Relais & Chateau at Thornbury Castle are seeking a dynamic and driven Wedding Executive** **to join our professional sales and events team. You will be working in a unique and beautifully restored Castle, creating truly memorable and impressive 5* experiences for our guests.

**About Us**

Set on 15 acres of beautiful land, Thornbury Castle Hotel is the only Tudor Castle operating as a hotel in England. The Castle has recently completed a multi-million pound refurbishment program bringing back to life the regal grandeur of its past. Located 20 minutes’ drive from Bristol, it offers 26 bedchambers and suites, an award-winning restaurant, bar and two unique meeting and conference spaces.

Our company goal is to deliver “refined and personalised hospitality” to enable our hotel to be a place where all guests can relax, enjoy themselves and have a break from normal life. To feel like royalty in a unique place with unique people.

**Job Description** We are looking for a driven, dynamic and experienced wedding coordinator, who would relish this exciting opportunity. If you believe you could be the next passionate Wedding Executive to join the team at the Castle, we’d love to hear from you.**
- Be the first contact for all wedding enquiries.
- Prepare proposals and contracts, check billings, invoices and process payments.
- Use strong attention to detail produce accurate internal function sheets.
- Ability to identify customers’ needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns
- Greet all function organisers and bride for each wedding. Be the point of contact and fully responsible for the ceremony
- Sales driven and ability to optimise every sales opportunity
- Carry out show rounds, organise and attend wedding fairs and internal events to promote the Castle and its unique offerings.
- Meet targets, KPI’s, schedules, follow company policies and procedures, and comply with all health and safety regulations.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a co-ordinator is preferred but full training will be given
- Preferably experience with PMS Opera or similar

**Additional Information**
- Full-time permanent position
- £26 per annum, depending on experience
- Additional bonus based on objectives.
- An additional share of service charge (about 4k per year, based on business level)
- Full time - 40 hours per week worked over 5 days and may include weekends. (based on business needs)
- 5 days sick pay after 6 months service
