Relais & Chateau at Thornbury Castle are thrilled to be seeking an Events Executive to join our professional sales and events team. You will be working in a unique and beautifully restored Castle, creating truly memorable and impressive 5* experiences for our guests.

About Us

Set on 15 acres of beautiful land, Thornbury Castle Hotel is the only Tudor Castle operating as a hotel in England. The Castle has recently completed a multi-million pound refurbishment program bringing back to life the regal grandeur of its past. Located 20 minutes' drive from Bristol, it offers 26 bedchambers and suites, an award-winning restaurant, bar and two unique meeting and conference spaces.

Job description

Be the first contact for all wedding and events enquiries.
Prepare proposals and contracts, check billings, invoices and process payments.
Use strong attention to detail produce accurate internal function sheets.
Ability to identify customers' needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns
Greet all function organisers and bride for each wedding. Be the point of contact and fully responsible for the ceremony
Sales driven and ability to optimise every sales opportunity
Carry out show rounds, organise and attend wedding fairs and internal events to promote the Castle and its unique offerings.
Meet targets, KPI's, schedules, follow company policies and procedures, and comply with all health and safety regulations.

Profile description
Previous experience is preferred but full training will be given
Experience with PMS Opera or similar.
