We have a rare opportunity to join our machinery sales team in a new role, to concentrate on selling used machinery.

**THE JOB**

This is an exciting new position to our business with the aim to drive sales of used tractors and machinery across the group.

Sales will be generated through stronger trade relationships, improved advert content to drive retail sales and further use of online and physical auctions.

The person in the role will build strong relationships with the sales management and sales teams to be a key part of the remarketing process of used machinery, helping focus our stock rotation and improve flow of stock holding.

Developing sales within used tractors, machinery & equipment
- Managing overage stock value / days
- Online advertising content - creating a well recognised used tractor and machinery online presence.
- Gathering pictures & video of used tractors and machinery from across our machinery sites for advertising & promotion.
- Measured on sales figures / stock reduction.
- Supporting sales managers and sales teams to move stock faster.
- Working across our machinery sites in North of England & SW Scotland.
- Must take ownership of managing own sales activity, planning and balancing prospecting calls and existing customer contact.
- Used of in house CRM system to track leads and activity.
- Work to achieve customer total customer excellence satisfaction from point of enquiry to point of delivery.
- Support show and event activity with the machinery team and the wider machinery portfolio.

**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES REQUIRED**

ESSENTIAL
- Excellent attitude to make things happen, self starter to develop an area from scratch.
- Written skills - proven ability to use clear, concise language specific for the purpose and audience.
- Confident IT user.
- Capable of use of IT to layout advertising draft, use of advertising web programs.
- Up to date with latest social media & advertising trends.
- Flexibility with working hours during busy seasons and weekends.
- Full UK driving license required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to consult, negotiate and liaise with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders.

DESIRABLE
- Ability to manage change and to adapt to unexpected demands on a day to day basis.
- Ability to assess priorities and manage competing deadlines both independently and as a member of a team.
- Experience working independently and managing time in a commercial environment.
