**To be considered for this position you must hold a Full GMC Registration**

As a CAMHS Associate Specialist your key responsibilities include:

- Clinical assessment, formulation and treatment of young people with eating disorders CAMHS
- Ensuring an adequate handover to colleagues including out of hours when on call
- Seeking collateral history from other professionals and family
- Completing discharge letters/reports forms as required in a timely manner
- Preparing First-tier Tribunal and Hospital Managers’ hearing reports under the supervision of consultant
- Work effectively with colleagues to ensure that patients have access to appropriate medical cover at all times
- Providing prospective cover to other specialty doctors when they are on leave Participate in weekly ward rounds & attend multidisciplinary meetings

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

- Substantial and relevant clinical experience
- Have had an appraisal within the last year
- Experience working as a doctor within similar environment
- Experience working in psychiatry within multi-disciplinary teams
- To be in good standing with the Royal College of Psychiatrists

The successful Associate Specialist will receive an excellent salary of £80,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
