You'll have prior experience within a similar setting from the NHS or private care and will guide and coordinate night shifts alongside the Senior Nurses.

**What you will be doing**

You will lead a night team that works well together to provide care to children with a diagnosis of an eating disorder supporting them to lead a valued and fulfilled life.

As a Night Coordinator you are a pivotal member of the operational management team and will be supporting the Nurses, Senior Nurses and clinical teams across 3 wards during the night shifts. You will lead, manage and coordinate clinical duties to ensure quality and safety is maintained.

Acting as the first point of contact when situations need to be escalated on site, you will be supported by an on-call manager and senior director who will be available remotely.

It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve; being able to do something today that they couldn’t do last week because of you.

You in the role of Night Duty Nurse will also have a responsibility to shape and innovate our new Hospital At Night programme which focuses on supporting our teams to be well looked after throughout their shifts.

Things that you will have:

- RMN or RNLD
- Educated to degree level, or professional equivalent
- CAMHS experience
- The desire to improve, challenge and innovate
- Management and leadership experience
- Experience in managing complex operational issues and working through immediate resolution. Experience in problem solving and ensuring that systems and processes are adequately implemented.

Join the vibrant team at Rhodes Wood Hospital, a specialist CAMHS Eating Disorder service with 3 wards, which empowers recovery in a fast-paced, challenging and fun environment for children and young people aged 8-18 years with eating disorders.

Rhodes Wood is working through a programme to continually innovate, improve and deliver excellent care to our young people and a rewarding experience for employees.

You will support a warm and nurturing environment, allowing for the understanding of symptoms, patterns and origins of psychological distress, and will actively encourage children to personalise bedroom spaces to make these feel like a home from home.

Our hospital operates 24/7. You will work night shifts including weekends and bank holidays. Standard shifts are 12 hours, working 3 nights one week and 4 nights the next.
