**THE ROLE**

We're seeking an Accounts Payable/Treasury Assistant to support the accounts payable and treasury activities of all corporate entities, forming part of a tightly-knit finance team spread across different international locations.

It’s a permanent role based in the UK that will report to the Accounts Payable/Treasury Specialist. You will be required to attend the office for around 40% of your time, with the option to work remotely for the rest. Some short-haul trips to Europe on demand might be required, as well as long-haul trips to India and US on occasion.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Review expense reports and approve them for payment.
- Preparing, reviewing and authorising payment runs for some corporate entities.
- Assisting with the daily management and coordination of the newly implemented PO system.
- Maintaining supplier details in the Group’s accounting ERP.
- Monitoring AP mailbox and responding to various queries, both internally and externally.
- Support the continuous improvement, management, and coordination of all accounts payable processes, such as in-house payments in some entities where they are currently outsourced.
- Continuously improve efficiency and seek cost savings in all Treasury activities.
- Monitoring and management of intercompany loans and current bank accounts.
- Account opening and cash management systems implementation.
- Banking documentation management (KYC, UBO,...).
- Oversee the maintenance of the Group’s bank mandates.
- Completion of ad hoc projects.

**EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Experience in Finance, with a focus on similar roles in accounts payable and treasury processes; a Big Four audit background would be a plus
- Graduate and professional accounting qualifications
- Impressive verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and analytical approach to work, with sophisticated commercial acumen
- Focus and drive, balanced by a desire to work collaboratively
- Fluent, advanced business-level English; additional languages such as Italian, Spanish or Portuguese would be a plus
- Demonstrable experience working with international and distributed teams in a global company (highly advantageous)
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite, Yooz, NAVAN (ex-TripActions) and Expensify would be a plus
- 1-5 years of experience
- The right to work in the UK.
