- Control all reporting of treasury transactions, including accounting for intercompany structural loans and working capital facilities and prepare reconciliations of key ledger accounts.
- Oversee the Groups intercompany reconciliation process and manage and develop the recently implemented Coprocess intercompany matching system.
- Assist with the ongoing development of the Group's Treasury management System (IT2) and accounting system (SAP).
- Manage the Group's hedge accounting process, including review of initial hedge set up, hedge documentation and effectiveness testing.
- Liaise with auditors and internal customers on matters relating to treasury accounting and prepare treasury disclosures for the annual report and half year announcement
- Assist with the preparation of United Kingdom annual financial statements using Caseware accounts preparation software.
- Keep abreast of changes to accounting standards and regulations relevant to financial instruments and ensure the organisation is aware of new reporting and disclosure requirements.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reports required by Group Finance, Group Treasury and the Shared Service Centre.
- Support the Treasury budgeting and forecasting process
- Provide routine and ad-hoc analysis as requested by Divisions and Group Finance.
- Ensure Treasury accounting is completed on timely basis in SAP and disclosures in the Group HFM consolidation system to meet internal and external deadlines.
- Seek ways to improve the treasury accounting process.
- Manage Treasury compliance (supported by Group Treasury)
