- Pro-actively identify, contact and engage with Architects, Contractors and end users in order to make appointments for our Account Managers to promote RPG products and services.
- Ensure databases and internal intelligence are used to maximum potential to identify and contact opportunities.
- Effectively communicate the potential of our products and services when speaking to potential clients to maximise opportunities for appointment.
- Organise CPDs and events to offer ongoing education and promotion of our products and services.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions with prospects and update the CRM system with all relevant information.
- Ensure that the full information regarding all appointments and potential leads are passed on to the relevant Account Manager.
- Collaborate closely with Divisions to keep up to date with potential projects and assist in securing projects and responding to information requests.
- Work closely with Account Managers, the Pre-Construction Team and Divisional Directors to help develop and manage client accounts.
- Stay updated on the Group’s product and service range as well as industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Provide administrative support to the Account Managers and the Pre-Construction Team.
- Be proactive in developing your own development and knowledge.

**Skills / Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a client relationship role, preferably in the construction sector.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a persuasive and confident telephone manner.
- Resilience and drive to continually build contacts and secure opportunities.
- An ability to persuade and handle objections.
- Goal oriented mindset with a track record of achieving targets.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
- Good knowledge of the construction industry, or an ability to quickly build and retain this.
- Excellent IT and database management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to use initiative without close supervision.
- GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)

**Salary / Benefits**:

- Competitive salary of £23,000 to £26,000 per annum dependant on experience.
- Bonus Scheme.

- Option to join Private Medical Scheme following successful completion of probationary period.
- Life Assurance Cover.
- Annual leave of 20 days (increasing to 21 days following probationary period), plus 8 UK public holidays. Following 5 years’ service employees become eligible for an additional 5 days’ holiday per annum.
- The Company shut down between Christmas and New Year providing an additional 3 days’ off during this period.
- Modern office environment with kitchen facilities, refreshments and on-site parking.

**Location / Hours**:

- Based in Burgess Hill
- Working Hours: 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Thursday, and 9:00am to 5:00pm on Friday (with a one-hour lunch break each day).
