Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner

The purpose of the post is to support the academic training and clinical development of clinicians that leads to the achievement of Advanced Clinical Practitioner Masters qualification. This is a training post, and the job description describes the scope of the role whilst in training. Under indirect supervision Practice as a Trainee ACP within own sphere of competence and agreed acceptable limits of practice. Demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the out-of-hours, urgent care, IV service, alternative to transfer and walk-in-centre areas, supporting new work streams and services to manage patients out of hospital within a developing scope of competence.
Demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process. They will work collaboratively and flexibly with the wider healthcare team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, providing clinical leadership as required, using their own initiative. To teach other clinical and non-clinical staff To utilise clinical expertise and experiences towards developing and enhancing services within Mastercall and the wider health and social care economies Demonstrate the development and implementation of advanced skills and competencies and ensure that evidence-based practice is inherent in all aspects of care and treatment.
