Our client, a local authority in Leicester City is looking for a supervising social worker to work within their Kinship Assessment Team
The team aim to provide evidence based connected persons assessments, that help to achieve permanence for children who are looked after by the Local Authority.
Equipment to assist you in your role will be provided
Hybrid working options available
**Responsibilities of the role**:
- To complete connected persons assessments and supporting Non-Looked after SGO documentation for Fostering Panels and Legal Planning Meetings and Court.
- Use Leicester City Councils Connected Persons Templates to provide evidence based, robust Connected Persons/SGO assessments, that comply with statutory regulations and evidence need and risk
- To conduct home visits
**Requirements of the role**:
- Must have a Social Work Qualification
- Must be registered with Social Work England
- Must have a full driving licence
- Must have knowledge of relevant legislations and policies
- Must have relevant social work experience (Form F and Form C assessments)
