**Receptionist - Bamford Club**

The Club by Bamford is a new private members club, due to open later this year, set in the heart of the Cotswolds countryside at the Daylesford Farm.

We are seeking 4 highly motivated **Receptionists** to join our new team.

A full-time contract, based on **40 hours per week, £25,000 per annum + commissions on retail**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Reporting directly to the FOH Manager, you will be required to greet all clients and ensure they receive a 5* star service whilst in the Club. You will need to learn and maintain a high level of product knowledge to proactively engage with clients and achieve sales targets. You will also be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the Club. You will follow the Bamford philosophy to the highest professional standard.. Your main responsibilities will include:

- Strive to deliver 5-star service and communication, maintaining a professional and warm manner at all contact points with our members (greeting every member with good morning and good afternoon, introducing yourself by name)
- Fully leading the guest journey, offering members a feeling of general well-being and assisting to their every need
- Provide clear direction and navigation to all services including gym, restaurant, swimming pool and classes.
- Always maintain confidentiality in relation to member bookings and personal information, following the data protection policy (please ask your manager for more information)
- Ensure accuracy when taking payment from members for any services or products
- Ensure all members are aware of amendment or cancellation booking policies
- Always offer members the Bamford gift wrapping service when purchasing our products
- Report any member feedback or complaints immediately to management
- Following the opening and closing Club procedures, including standard checks, daily briefs, and ‘End of Day’ reporting tracker
- Supporting your Front of House team on completing the ‘Daily Task’ list as directed by Management
- Cash management including opening and closing tills, and taking cash to the required area at the end of every shift - following all SOP’s
- Overseeing the retail area including stock management, visual merchandising support and following all SOP’s
- Maintain any equipment, such as, computers, printers, and report any issues to management
- To have a full understanding of the Bamford Club product range and pro-actively sell and provide accurate information to all members
- Play an active role in continued learning and development for all products and treatment protocols offered at the Bamford Club and Spa (including complete clarity on product/service pricing)
- Participate in team meetings and other initiatives to develop guest journey and services and be aware of any current offers, events, and sales promotions
- Take a positive and proactive approach to all incentives, as set by management, to drive revenue
- Assist with events when required, in terms of organisation, hosting, and retailing
- Responsible for receiving deliveries, un-packing, and ticking off, maintaining inventory control records throughout the process and passing on this information to management to update the system accordingly
- With attention to detail, responsible for replenishment, cleanliness and handling of all stock and testers within the front of house and retail areas
- Ensure all merchandising guidelines are adhered to
- Maintain all communal member areas as well the back-of-house staff areas
- Work to the relevant Health and Safety standards, escalating any concerns to management
- Report any standards issues or maintenance requirements to the Operations or Duty Manager.
- Contribute to team meetings and share initiatives for improving the member experience
- Build rapport with all members and guests of the Bamford and Daylesford sites, including head office members, to encourage good working relationships
