As an RTT validation officer, you will utilise your advanced knowledge of 18 week pathways to validate patient records ensuring historic records are appropriately closed down. Additionally you will play a key role in identifying the causes of poor data quality and provide staff training on the correct interpretation of local and national access targets

Review, assess, update and correct data in UHS it systems related to RTT pathways using advanced PPW (Patient Pathway) skills
Identify and understand the causes of poor data quality and work towards implementing solutions
Contribute to the development and implementation of data quality initiatives

Advanced knowledge of 18-week pathways and experience with RTT validation processes
Familiarity with the access policy, data quality and RTT pathways
Effective communication skills to provide staff training relating to data quality and patient pathways.
