_Our Rural client Accounting team are looking for an Accounts Assistant/ Apprentice to join them starting ASAP_
- Our rural team manage a vast array of land and estates across the entirety of the UK._
- The team are looking for someone who has a passion for working within the Accounting sector. The position we’re recruiting is an all-round Accountancy position and you will be involved with our clients from day one Our rural accounting team work with a portfolio of clients and undertake a variety of bookkeeping and accounting tasks on their behalf. The successful applicant will have a small portfolio of their own clients to look after which makes it more exciting than other accounting roles. These could range from a small farm down the road to a large highland estate based in Scotland_
- Our successful applicant will be enrolled on an Accountancy apprenticeship where you will gain a full AAT qualification, fully funded by us. We will also support you throughout this process, giving you on the job training and advice when needed. We are also happy to look at further qualifications if you have already completed this (Accounts Assistant). Accounts Apprentices will be recruited on a three year Fixed Term Contract to enable for course completion whilst Assistants will be recruited permanently._

- _Processing purchase ledger invoices_
- _Reconciling supplier statements_
- _Processing expenses_
- _Preparing payment runs_
- _Adhoc payroll tasks_
- _Bank reconciliation’s_
- _VAT reconciliations_
- About you:_
- _Organised_
- _Takes pride in their work_
- _Excellent attention to detail_
- _Grade 4-9 in Maths and English GCSE’s_
- _A Level in Maths or Accounting would be desirable_
- _Interest in Accountancy and Finance_
- _Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel_
