**Job Description** The Senior HR Business Partner provides support to the Head of HR in their role as a strategic partner within the Informa Markets business.

This role is key to the provision of a seamless HR service, ensuring that all people related projects and programmes are executed in a timely and efficient manner in alignment with business, people or wider organisational goals. This role will be closelyaligned to the HR community, whilst supporting managers and employees in the client group to which they are assigned.

Working within a matrixed environment the Senior HR Business Partner will deliver and execute, within their client group, the people and organisation related programmes and initiatives including, but not limited to:

- target operating model design and optimisation
- performance and talent management
- succession planning
- reward and recognition
- employee engagement
- organisational development
- change management

They will also need to be able to offer advice and guidance on HR processes, best practice and policy to all colleagues and managers within their client group and be responsible for the correct handling of any ER issues.

The role requires strong collaboration and connectivity with HR Shared Services, HR Advisors, HR Managers and other HR specialists including Reward, Learning and Talent Acquisition to bring the best of collective expertise to the business as one global HRteam.

The is expected to assume the following key responsibilities plus any other reasonable duties as required:

- Support the implementation and execution of strategic people and organisation initiatives for their client groups.
- Build solid and trusting partnerships with respective senior and executive management team members to support the delivery the people strategy.
- Support and embed organisational change, ensuring that new people initiatives are championed in their client group.
- Champions Informa’s diversity and inclusion agenda.
- Provides guidance to managers on employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance matters, identifying opportunities and anticipating risks, escalating them to the Lead HR Managers/Head of HR, or legal team as appropriate.
- Ensures that HR processes are executed in alignment with expectations and that process touch points are properly owned/executed including employee lifecycle i.e. on/off boarding, on and off-cycle changes to terms and conditions, colleague engagement etc.
- On an ongoing and cyclical basis: lead, coach and guide areas of: Performance Management, Salary reviews, Organisation and Talent Reviews and Employee surveys
- Enables managers to become self-sufficient with regard to day-to-day employee matters, providing expert guidance on sensitive or high-profile employee relations matters as well as those with wider organisation or strategic impact.
- Acts as a trusted advisor on all people and organisation related topics.
- Ensures that employee data is of the highest quality and contributes and understands the people metrics for the assigned business area, including headcount, performance, talent, attrition, spans of control, engagement etc and uses data to inform HR actionsand priorities.

**Qualifications**:

- Exceptional knowledge of HR practices and how they can impact values, culture and transformational change
- Ability to identify and leverage the collective expertise of the HR community including, HR management HR Specialists and the HR Shared Services team to provide best in class HR services.
- Able to work in a highly matrixed environment.
- Able to challenge and influence managers, the ability to be a relationship builder who creates partnerships based on trust.
- Has good organisational awareness and looks for impacts/opportunities beyond the boundaries of their role
- Project management and organisational skills
- Clear, succinct verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present content with confidence.
- Involved and passionate, but able to exercise objectivity and detachment towards high quality outcomes.
