**Job summary**

To work as part of a new project operational team ensuring that all Clinical Services are able to make use of the appropriate elements of the clinical systems we use to their best effect and upskill new administrators on S1 and EMIS.

Hours of work: Full-time (averaging 37.5 hours per week) with alternate weekend working a requirement.

Tenure: Fixed Term appointment for one year initially

Base: Horley Health Hub. Some travel to sites across East Surrey and West Sussex Place may be required, and opportunity for remote working.

**Main duties of the job**

The role will be part of a close team and the post holder will be expected to work closely with all members of the team. The post holder will report to the Service Manager for Clinical Operations, and other Service Managers as and where applicable.

**Job description**

**Job responsibilities**

**System set up**
- Build S1 / EMIS protocols and templates in line with requirements of new and current services, responding in a timely manner to requests
- Ensure that templates work effectively

**System operations**
- Work with the Operations and administration team to address any system issues as they arise and troubleshoot problems as quickly as possible
- Working with the System Coordinators to manage and maintain clinics on S1 / EMIS
- Maintaining and releasing Lantum rotas in a timely manner
- Generating and sending discharge summaries
- Support Clinical Service Managers with site inductions and set-up
- Support the ABC At Home team
- Liaise with and support ABC hub clinicians across all services
- Liaise with external stakeholders (acute teams, community providers etc.) to ensure services are running effectively

**System Reporting**
- Pull reports from the systems as required and work with the ABC Analyst team to support accurate reporting of activity
- East Surrey Primary Care in Emergency Department (SASH) reporting required
- Support with ABC At Home team reporting

**Clinical Governance**
- Work with Head of Service and wider ABC Team to ensure necessary governance is in place to support service development
- Liaise with other colleagues to share learning on such projects
- Support practices in understanding and implementing these processes

**Information Governance**
- To ensure that guidance is sought and implemented such that service provision complied with requirements for data security and information governance.

**Future Service Opportunities**
- Support the Central Operations team in planning and mobilising any new services
- Support the ABC team in assessing operational risks and issues linked to new ventures
- Coordinate integration between Surrey and Sussex services

**Sharing of best practice**
- To stay abreast of national changes in the delivery of at scale services, and to review / visit sites known to be frontrunners in key elements of services the Federation delivers or may deliver in the future
- To be able to share own best practice in service delivering with other providers including presenting as necessary
- Cascade information to service delivery sites as necessary to support service improvement

**Team involvement**
- This role is a core part of the ABC team, and the postholder would be expected to have an understanding of the overall scope of work of the Federation as well as detailed knowledge of areas specific to the projects they are working on.
