An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our fast-paced Responsive Repairs team as a Senior Business Support Officer on our Voids team.

The Housing Delivery Responsive Repairs Service responsibilities include managing over 70,000 day to day repairs on our 28,000 tenancies, and 1,500 refurbishments per year, to bring our empty homes back into use. The service has gone through major transformation and is widely recognised as providing a top-quality repairs service to our Citizens.

You will provide direct back office administrative support to over 300 multi trade site-based operatives from the void sections and will be responsible for creating IT folders as well as physical folders for each Relet.

You will update bespoke systems accordingly, as well as closing down relet IT packs whilst cross checking your colleague work to ensure accuracy. You will also provide back-office support to Trade and Void Surveyor teams working on site.

You will also load jobs onto CX MIS systems as well as updating these systems with relevant information. Excellent communication, attention to detail, time management and customer service skills are essential.

You will also be working together with internal colleagues across a range of teams, as well as supporting your team to ensure an effective refurbishment Responsive Repairs Service is delivered for our residents, sometimes working until 6pm according to service need.

We are looking for people who thrive in a busy environment; A customer service background is essential as you will be speaking to Bristol City Council stakeholders on a daily basis as well as tenants.

You will need to be a team player who is able to communicate effectively with colleagues across all departments. This is a fast-paced role and you have to be able to work under pressure and feel confident with prioritizing your tasks throughout the day; Some knowledge of repairs and workflow systems would be beneficial but it’s not essential as we will provide full training.

We require someone who is flexible to work a 37-hour week between the hours of 8am - 6pm
