**Job summary**:
We have an exciting opportunity to recruit Band 2 Housekeeping operatives to join our busy Housekeeping Department at Good Hope Hospital

We are looking for individuals who are fully committed to providing a very high standard of work to support the needs of the Trust and to meet the high cleaning standards required to provide a safe environment for the care of our patients.

If you have the relevant experience and knowledge of the cleaning industry and you are an effective communicator, then we would like to hear from you.

Position Available: 17.30 -20.30 (5 out of 7 days to include a Saturday or Sunday shift )

**Person specification**:
**Qualifications**:
**Essential**:

- Good General Education to Secondary School
- Basic Level of literacy & numeracy
- Ability to read and write English

**Desirable**:

- Food Safety Level 2

**Experience**:
**Essential**:

- Able to work as a team member
- Dealing with the public and ability to work under pressure

**Desirable**:

- Experience working in the cleaning industry
- Previous NHS experience working in a similar role
- Catering experience

**Additional Criteria**:
