**Job summary**:
Companies House is an executive agency of the Department for Business and Trade (DBT). We maintain the public register of companies for the UK and provide corporate transparency, making the public register available online, free of charge, allowing individuals and businesses to make effective decisions about engaging with a company. Currently there are more than four million companies on the register, and we incorporate around 700,000 new companies every year.

Our aim is to be the best registry in the world achieved through brilliant people working on brilliant systems delivering brilliant services. We are currently delivering an organisation wide transformation programme to become a truly digital organisation; with all our systems and services to be digital first, easy to use and developed entirely around our users’ needs. This change will need different skills, capabilities and mindset where adaptable, bold and curious behaviours are the norm and empowerment is encouraged and utilised. This role will play a critical part in delivering this transformation.

The role itself is situated within the portfolio team and within the wider Transformation Delivery Directorate. The role requires close working with a range of colleagues from across Companies House. The role will involve helping to maintain appropriate systems for project planning, assist in managing risk and issues and managing project data within our Project and Programme Management (PPM) tool.

We like to think of ourselves as an inclusive, innovative and welcoming employer, one that supports people and encourages them to ‘find their passion’ by developing their skills and careers. Our flexible approach to hybrid working supports a combined working from home and office-based working, in a way that supports the individual.
