Project Support Officer

About the Role

This position will sit within the Learning and Development team and will play a vital role in the planning and coordination of major projects. Day to day, you will provide efficient administration to support the L&D team and ensure the effective delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • First point of contact for the team, providing exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working closely with sensitive information relating to projects, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Supporting the team and ensuring on-time delivery, prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively.
  • Monitor, evaluate and assess the progress of work, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Report and analyse information to support project delivery, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings by providing meeting agendas and minute taking, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Data entry, ensuring all key documents, spreadsheets and data are up to date, accurate and secure.
  • Evaluate and assess project performance, highlighting areas of risk and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Responsible for implementing and ordering supplies, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
Requirements
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Administrative experience, with a focus on project coordination and support.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Awareness of policies and procedures, with a focus on confidentiality and discretion.
  • Data entry and minute taking experience, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to speak Welsh (desirable), with a commitment to promoting Welsh language and culture.
