The role

The Head Receptionist will lead the Reception team in providing the highest level of customer care to all callers and visitors to Northern Ballet and Phoenix Dance Theatre and ensure all reception systems and procedures are adhered to. As well as day-to-day reception duties the Reception team are also responsible for Box Office sales and administration for dance classes. The Head Receptionist will be a decisive leader who will show initiative and approach the role with positivity and diligence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage a team of between casual receptionists in delivering the highest standards of customer service to Northern Ballet and Phoenix Dance Theatre
- Manage the rota and staffing requirements of reception and manage the day-to-day activities of the reception team
- Ensure all financial procedures are adhered to by all members of the reception team
- Actively carry out all general reception duties
- Support the events team in delivering high quality customer service to clients
- Selling tickets for the Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre on the computerised box office system and provide information to customers by telephone and in person

Desirable experience:
Experience of Spektrix and/or Artifax online booking system preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

Hours: 24 per week - Wednesday to Friday, 8.30am - 17.30pm (some flexibility will be required to cover staff and events).
