**Job Title**:Speciality PA

**Working Days**:Monday - Friday

**Preferred hours per weeks**:37.5 hours (30 hours negotiable)

**Shift Pattern**:Weekdays between core hours 8-6pm

**Location**:Nottingham University Hospital Trust, City Campus, Nottingham, NG5 1PB

**Band**:Band 4; pay rate at £11.53 per hour.

**Start Date**:ASAP

**End Date of Placement**:6 Months (Subject to reviews)

**Ward/Department**:Gynaecoloy

**Required System knowledge**:
Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook

**JOB SUMMARY
**You will be a conscientious and enthusiastic team player with excellent organisational and communication skills and be well motivated and reliable.

You will be able to understand and accurately convey verbal and written information and be able to remain calm under pressure. You will be able to work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of a busy department.

Accurately transcribe clinical letters using Winscribe, producing high quality work within defined deadlines. To maintain and update spreadsheets relating to patient investigations and test and other general/team administrative functions e.g. distributing department incoming mail, scanning, photocopying, maintaining stationery and supplies. You will also need to have oversite of the Support Secretaries as part of the wider team with regard to training, development and leadership.

The Specialty PA is an integral part of the Gynaecology team. We pride ourselves on our efficient, responsive quality service we provide in our day to day working.
