Here at BS Social Care we are currently recruiting for an Outreach Support Worker to work with a well-known mental health charity in the Cardiff area.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a reputable charity and make a change to those that they support. You will be working with a range of people with mental health issues and require support to seek accommodation, appointments, assist accessingexternal support/benefits and supporting their emotional needs. You will also support with day to day tasks.

You will be working as part of a team with your own case load with visits into the community. This is a full-time post Monday - Friday (9-5) and you must be a driver for this role due to the support you will be offering. Experience working alongside mentalhealth, homelessness, domestic abuse, benefits systems or substance misuse and alcoholism.
**What we'll need from you**:

- Ability to work within a team and independently.
- Ability to monitor and ensure the safety and security of service users.
- An understanding and background in mental health.
- Ability to handle a caseload.
- Must have an approachable, proactive and friendly attitude towards work.
- A DBS registered on the Update Service would be a great advantage.
