**About Us**

Rockliffe Hall is an AA-rated 5 red star resort in the north of England and is set within 375 acres outside the village of Hurworth, near Darlington in County Durham. We aim to provide an outstanding personalised service to each guest who stays, spas, golfs and dines and with us, acknowledging special occasions and making them memorable for all guests. We are currently seeking a Resort Maintenance Supervisor to join Team Rockliffe

**The Role**

The main responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor role will be (but not limited to):

- To ensure the hotel is maintained to the highest standard by working as part of the maintenance team.
- To assist is ensuring all health and safety practices are adhered to and correct procedures followed.
- To supervisor a small team including carry out basic tasks including painting, minor plumbing, changing lights bulbs and minor electrical work including helping other departments when required
- To look after health & safety for the maintenance department.
- To maintain the hotel to the highest level of presentation ensuring all general decor is in excellent repair
- To ensure all equipment and furniture is in good working condition, making repairs where necessary
- To ensure daily health and safety checks are carried out in accordance with the company’s health and safety policy eg carrying out floor walks to identify any fire hazards or health and safety issues
- To assist with any rebuilding or office refurbishment work that may be required
- To respond quickly and positively to any department requests for maintenance repairs
