**Role Description**
LV=GI have a new opportunity for a Diversity and Inclusion Consultant working from any of our LV=GI or Allianz offices. (There may be events and meetings that would necessitate some travel e.g. industry events, conferences)
The role sits within a vibrant team focused on implementing and advancing the Diversity & Inclusion strategy and ambitions for Allianz UK.
Reporting to the Culture & Corporate Social Responsibility Director for Personal Lines Insurance, you will drive the activation of inclusion initiatives within Allianz with the overall objective of helping to create an inclusive work environment where all employees feel valued and respected and have equal opportunities for growth and success. You’ll play a crucial role in activating our inclusion plans by building solid relationships across the business and effectively project-managing initiatives.
**Your Focus**
- Collaborate with sponsors, senior leaders, and other stakeholders to develop and deliver initiatives aligned to implement and advance the diversity and inclusion strategy.
- Partner with teams across the business and the People Team to move the dial towards achieving the Allianz D&I ambitions, surfacing key data and insight to inform plans, monitor and evaluate progress and measure our success.
- Partner with employee led Inclusion Networks and support these in the development of their annual plan of activities to amplify the voices of our people, raise awareness, educate, celebrate, and challenge the way we do things whilst aligning to our overall strategy and ambitions.
- Support the design, delivery, and promotion of impactful inclusion of diversity initiatives and events in partnership with employee networks, internal and external communication teams, the wider People team, and business.
- Create and communicate internal and external reporting appropriate for different stakeholders about our progress, to be transparent about our D&I journey and to drive continued focus and action on topics.
- Work with our Learning & Development team to ensure learning, development, and education needs for D&I priorities are in place including robust and appropriate impact measurement.
- Manage activity for external charter commitments, partner relationships, benchmarking submissions and reporting e.g., Women in Finance Charter, Gender Pay Gap, Race at Work Charter.
- Stay ahead of major developments in the Inclusion of Diversity space and the wider industry to create new opportunities to progress.
**About you**
You will have a track record of developing and implementing D&I or other complex people/cultural initiatives which have contributed to achieving business objectives.
You will be able to evidence how you achieve results and desirable outcomes through engagement, matrix leadership and management of individuals and groups and successfully collaborating with and influencing stakeholders at all levels across the business.
Your engaging written and verbal communication skills enable you to explain complex or technical information in a simple way to different audiences and when required you will have the ability to influence, negotiate and coach others to deliver successful outcomes.
As well as being a collaborative team player, as an organised self-starter you will be able to demonstrate your ability to prioritise workload and work independently to tight deadlines, on your own initiative and identify solutions in a busy environment.
