Job Role

We are seeking an experienced Education Coordinator to join our Education Access Team in Suffolk, focusing on improving educational inclusion and reducing barriers to learning for children and young people at risk or experiencing reduced access to education.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  1. Develop and maintain effective relationships with education providers, families, and professionals to enhance the quality of provision and meet the needs of individual children and young people.
  2. Implement evidence-based strategies to promote educational inclusion and reduce disparities in education outcomes.
  3. Lead the Education Access Team to prioritize the needs of children and young people, working in a solution-oriented manner to achieve positive outcomes.
  4. Ensure high-quality advice and guidance are delivered efficiently and effectively, addressing the specific needs of children and young people.
  5. Contribute to service-wide developments through membership of the Inclusion Strategic Management Team.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess Qualified Teacher Status, a strong track record of leading and managing a team, and experience working within an education setting. They should also demonstrate a strong commitment to social inclusion, equality, and diversity, inspiring their team to achieve their full potential.
