**We are looking for enthusiastic Support Workers to join the fantastic teams based in West Kirby.**

**Our West Kirby service is looking to recruit a lively support worker who loves to get out walking and trying new activities. You will need to be a fun and outgoing individual who loves to laugh and have a good time. you will need to support people to do the things that matter most to them and work with individuals to achieve their outcomes.**

**Some of the activities the ladies enjoy are attending the bingo, social clubs, tribute nights, theatre, meals out, coastal walks, pampering at the nail saloon and hairdressers.**

**Amongst some of the skills You will be required to support 3 ladies to maintain their home, support with cooking and preparing food, washing clothes, administering medicine's, supporting with health and personal care ,supporting with finances and day to day household tasks.**
- Working time will be on a rota basis with shifts spread across the weekdays, weekends and bank holidays including mornings, afternoons, evenings and sleep ins.**What does a Support Worker do?**

As a Support Worker you will be expected to provide an outstanding level of support that will help to ensure the people we support live a more comfortable, dignified, liberated and happy life. You will have excellent communication skills and be a naturally caring and patient personality. Typical responsibilities may include:

- **Supporting people to live independently** - budget management, paying bills, housework, organising appointments and cooking delicious healthy meals.
- **Excellent communication skills and Relationship building **- supporting the people we support to understand the world around them and promoting positive relationships.
- **Community & Social Inclusion** - supporting individuals to access and participate in their local community and social events to promote life skills and individuality.
- **Personal care** - helping people to get ready for the day.This may include prompting the people we support to take their medication and assisting with bathing, showering and using the bathroom.Not all Support Worker roles include high levels of personal care.
