We have a new opportunity for enthusiastic HR Administrative Apprentice to join our team. The role will be the support a busy recruitment team, giving you a fantastic opportunity to start your career in HR. Main duties of the job

You will be supported to develop excellent organisational skills learning about maintaining and developing administrative support systems, managing correspondence and communications to and from the department.

You should outline your skills, experience, and achievements, providing further information/evidence of your suitability for the role, with particular reference to the essential criteria (outlined in the attached Person Specification).

Training & Qualifications

Essential criteria
- Functional skills level 1 in English, Maths and ICT

Desirable criteria
- English and Maths GCSE Level C or above QCF in business administration level 1 or customer care or equivalent

Experience

Desirable criteria
- Previous experience of working within an administrative setting is desirable in either a paid or voluntary capacity but not essential.

Communication and relationship skills

Essential criteria
- Good communication skills. Able to provide and receive routine information orally, to inform colleagues, and customers. Able to provide information to manager and colleagues (orally and electronically) as required and answers routine queries from staff/customers.
- Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers both face to face and in writing.

Planning and organisation skills

Essential criteria
- Good attendance/time keeping. Able to organise own day to day work tasks or activities when workload is allocated. Is able to use tools to assist with own work load such as electronic diary system.

Analytical and Judgement skills

Essential criteria
- Able to make judgements involving straightforward facts or situations. Able to make judgments concerning own work.

**Salary**: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
