To provide mental health assessment and support for patients within general hospital settings and develop and implement care plans in co-operation with the General Hospital staff, ensuring Acute providers and Psychiatric Liaison services have access to specialist CAMHS knowledge and resources. To improve the overall quality and provision of psychological aspects of care by sharing mental health skills and knowledge with other health care colleagues, ensuring pathways for Children and Young People attending Acute Providers are safe and effective, clearly communicated and robustly evaluated. To join an extended Mental Health Liaison Service for all-age mental health problems across the two main hospital sites across Shropshire and Telford area. The role will have two site bases at Princess Royal Hospital and Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and will ensure Children and Young People have access to quality and timely psychiatric assessment and support.
