Team Manager Safer Communities Violence Reduction

The Violence Reduction Team (VRT) takes a multi-agency approach to breaking the cycle of involvement in group related violence with contextual safeguarding informing practice
The role will pay up to £33.81 per hour depending on your location and this may be negotiable.
**Requirement for this role include**:
- To oversee, manage and support the development and the delivery of the Initiative - providing an effective and efficient support service to victims, those at risk of offending and those that have offended.
- To quality assure assessments by demonstrating the ability to analyse complex data, balance public protection, safeguarding and broader development issues.
- To assist in the contract monitoring of the Violence Reduction Team and projects including the development of specifications and the submission of data as and when required, albeit at least quarterly.
- To lead and chair multi-agency meetings in order to manage risk and contextual harm.
**Reed are now offering a joining bonus of up to £250 for Qualified Social Workers. Terms apply.**
- Registered with Social Work England
- Having excellent knowledge of criminal justice legislation particularly the Crime and Disorder Act.Also related fields including ETE, housing linked to criminogenic need
- Able to drive car and hold a UK Driving License
