Glasgow, United Kingdom Shawlands Out of School Care Full time

An understanding of the benefits of holistic free play and to promote the aims and objectives of SOOSC.

To provide high quality care for the children; collecting children from school: facilitating play opportunities within a Holistic Free Play framework and delivering children safely to their parents or carers.

To work as part of a team.

To set up physical play environment i.e. tables and chairs.

To provide a safe and creative environment.

To consult with the children, involving them in the planning of play opportunities.

To help facilitate appropriate play opportunities

To administer first aid as appropriate.

To ensure Child Care plans are updated where appropriate.

To develop and maintain good relationships and communications with parents.

To ensure child is collected by someone known to SOOSC.

To record of any accidents and incidents

To be aware of Policies and Procedures.

To ensure confidentially of information received.

Be involved in out of working hour’s activities, e.g. Training, Staff Meetings.

To work in conjunction with the Service Supervisor and Senior Practitioner.

To be accountable to the Service Manager.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 17 per week

**Salary**: £10.89-£11.47 per hour
