**THE ROLE**:
Reporting to the Sustainability Manager, the role will support the needs of the team and perform a variety of functions in a fast-paced environment.

**EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Passion for sustainability and a drive to reduce carbon emissions.
- Relevant degree.
- Demonstrable knowledge of the construction industry or experience in a similar field is highly desirable.
- Work with accuracy, own initiative and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time and workload effectively.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ideally have knowledge of PDF editing software (i.e., Adobe/Bluebeam) and/or computer aided modelling software (i.e., CAD/Revit) would be desirable.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Desire to learn and continuously develop, with an ability to challenge established processes and policies, identifying more effective solutions.
- Ability to build relationships and work well with a variety of stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a high level of teamwork, discipline, and enthusiasm.
- Understanding of the principles of Sustainability and Net Zero
- Understanding of Net Zero frameworks
- Data/statistical analysis and reporting
- Copywriting/proofing/editing

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assisting with the data collection for Net Zero Carbon Reporting requirements.
- Assisting with client and project let Net Zero Carbon reporting requirements.
- Liaising with Commercial Team, Design Team, Project Team to obtain information and analysing procurement schedules, drawings, and commercial documents.
- Liaising with the supply chain to obtain information.
- Basic understanding of Net Zero Framework and working within the guidelines.
- Ensuring reviewing and keeping up to date with the latest published data and guidelines from UKGBC, Government, RICS etc.
- Ensure the use of appropriate evidence for reporting and maintain accurate data.
- Assisting with liaising with other departments to collect, input and report Sustainability and Net Zero data.
- Assisting with development of Net Zero reporting processes.
- Basic understanding of operational carbon data and processes.
- Assis with the capture and collation of Winvic operational data.
- Assisting to capture best practice and carbon reduction measure case studies to share information and improve performance.
- Assisting with brand support for Sustainability and Net Zero capability materials, presentations, and documents.
- Assisting with general Sustainability, Net Zero and CSR support.
- Acting as a Sustainability and CSR champion within the business.
- Assisting with generating innovative ideas to help reduce carbon emissions in the industry.
- Assisting to support Winvic’s target to achieve its carbon-zero targets by 2025.
- Stay up to date with new technology, innovations, and best practice in the industry to accelerate Winvic’s sustainability journey.
