**Job Purpose**

The Experiential Event Lead has responsibility for identifying/generating innovative events and exhibition opportunities to showcase RICS, Headquarters (Great George Street) and its other UK based premises, promote the profession and maximise use of the Heritage asset, member experience and public interest. They will be responsible for ensuring these are appropriately funded - generating sponsorship where possible and delivered to a high quality, efficiently and effectively, collaborating with colleagues and members as appropriate to ensure they have maximum and demonstrable impact.

**Key Achievements & Responsibilities**
- Proactively work with colleagues, members and partners to identify opportunities for events to maximise the use of GGS, member experience and public interest.
- Proactively work with colleagues, members and partners to identify opportunities for exhibitions to showcase the profession, promote industry trends and attract diverse next generation.
- Build and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Lead delivery of events and exhibitions throughout the building, efficiently and effectively to high standard, co-ordinating all relevant contributors (Facilities management, caterers etc)
- Ensure strong communication is developed to raise awareness of the facilities available and events/exhibitions are promoted to maximise impact. Working closely with Communications and social media teams to enable this.
- Supplier management - working with the Procurement team to source and negotiate contracts with suppliers
- Cost management - working alongside other product areas to ensure costs are controlled
- Sponsorship/partnership management - working with the sponsorship agency to maintain relationships with key stakeholders and ensure that sponsorship contracts are fulfilled
- Identify and implement appropriate metrics to measure impact and demonstrate effectiveness.

- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver maximum impact
- Increased footfall and engagement in the HQ building & other UK based premises
- A vibrant Headquarters and other UK premises

**Experience Required**
- Strong experience of innovative creative event and exhibition generation and creating a closer bond between consumer and brand through live experiences and events
- Strong experience in event and exhibition management and working with delivery teams in partnership with cross functional, geographically dispersed teams and building trusted relationships
- Appreciation of the role of RICS, trends in the sector, members experience and how RICS creates public benefit
- Highly organised and methodical approach with experience of working in a fast-paced constantly changing environment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues in a matrix environment
- Customer focused, with the ability to build effective working relationships
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, confident with all stakeholders
- Negotiation skills
- Strong project management skills with ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines as required, with “can do” approach.

This role can be performed with a hybrid working arrangement which balances working from home and your contracted office. It is expected that regular attendance in the office will be required in line with team needs.
