Fire Services Project Manager

FAFS Fire & Security are the specialist Fire Services division of Marlowe Fire & Security Group. Due to a recent acquisition, we are looking to expand our team by appointing an experienced Fire Services Project Manager to manage the project transition andcontinued development of those project during the phased acquisition period and thereafter.

Testament to the incredible work we do, our client base is ever-growing and for this purpose we are looking to appoint an additional Fire& Security Project Manager to ensure that all installations are delivered within budget on time and in line with customer quality expectations. To continuously improve delivery of the installation programme within the region and adopt best practice models.To enhance the profitability of the project engineer and Installation team by effective management and cost control.
**The Opportunity**
The purpose of this role will primarily be to ensure all projects are delivered technically compliant, in budget and on time, whilst reviewing contract files for technical and contractual accuracy.
- Provide monthly work bank forecast working to achieve monthly budget
- Selection and monitoring of sub-contract labour, direct resource and suppliers
- Liaising with client and engineers and sub-contractors for planning in work
- To attend site meetings and regional offices when required
- Any other management duties commensurate with your skills and experience
- To ensure Heath and Safety Compliance - completing tool box talks, health and safety audits (PPE, ladder, vehicle etc.), reporting accidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences
- To ensure Environmental Compliance - safe disposal of waste (ionised detectors/WEEE etc.), returns of waste transfer and consignment notes and to ensure all operatives carry the waste transfer certificate
- To ensure regular compliance checks for NSI Audits in line with company procedures
**Who we're looking for**:
- Highly qualified, skilled, and experienced Fire & Security Engineering background
- Knowledge of Fire detection and related systems: BS 5839 - FIA Experience in a similar management role
- Project Management experience
- Excellent management and computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Customer focused with the ability to resolve customer queries
- Be capable of working effectively under pressure in a deadline driven environment
- Professional with excellent communication, admin and people skills
- Strong organisational stills
- The ability to handle multiple priorities with a structured approach
- Self-motivated, proactive and enthusiastic
- The ability to work independently and desire to learn
