We have a new and exciting opportunity for a** Partnerships Lead** to join our West Kent Services. As part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work flexibly and creatively to establish what is needed to have the most positive impact for all who are referred to our service.

You will be working out of your preferred choice of our Gravesend, Maidstone or Tunbridge Wells offices.

**Hours**: 37.5 per week

**Salary**: £37,610.99 - £41,455.04 Pro rata (deoendent on experience)

**Responsibilities**:
**About the role**:

- Offer Line Management support to the Individual Placement & Support Senior Employment Specialist to deliver the IPS service to meet the outcomes and targets as required by OHID and Kent County Council (KCC).
- Nurture healthy relationships and develop joint working protocols with external stakeholders and partners promoting referral and treatment pathways that are available for the residents of West Kent. Work with agencies such as Adult and Childrens & Families Social Care Teams, Mental Health Teams, GPs, Hospitals, Police, Probation and Prisons and with other key partners e.g. One You Kent, Vita Health, West Kent Mind etc.- Work closely with the Service Manager, West Kent Locality Leads and Team Leaders to design, shape and deliver training and educational sessions to partner agencies.- Promote and arrange the delivery of Naloxone training to external agencies and key frontline professionals.- Provide Line Management support to the Volunteer Team Leader to support clear messages about the benefits of paid work v the benefits of volunteering for those in treatment.- Work closely with the Service User Involvement & Inclusion Worker to engage with community groups to aid their understanding of the treatment offer available and referral pathways. Support the Inclusion Worker to work with the wider service to alleviate barriers to ensure services are accessible for everyone.- Work closely with the Health Promotions Worker and Cluster Lead Nurse to promote and deliver wider healthcare messages to include the harms of drugs and alcohol, promotion of smoking cessation, BBV testing and access to local community wellbeing services and networks.- Work with West Kent managers and teams to supporting the aims of KCC’s Tackling Co-occurring Conditions Working Group and Workplan.

**About you**:

- Experience of working in the Social Care and Substance Misuse field and a good understanding of drug and alcohol issues along with a strong understanding of the needs to support long term recovery.
- Experience of Line Management and Supervision & Appraisal processes.
- Experience of Project Management and managing budgets.
- Excellent knowledge of a range of psychosocial interventions including Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Trauma Informed Care
- Experience of developing new systems and joint working protocols.
- Excellent organisational skills including time-management and the ability to prioritise both dynamically and in the longer-term.
- Ability to utilise different sources of information to make decisions, including inclusivity of the workforce and stakeholders.
- Accomplished written and verbal communication skills and a high degree of personal IT competency.
