**Location**: Port Vale Football Club; Vale Park, Hamil Road, ST6 1AW

**Hours**:37.5 hours per week

**Responsible to**: People Manager

**Team**: Human Resources

**Job Purpose**: To support and assist the HR function at the football club, to improve process and employee experience.

**PRINCIPLE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support the People Manager with administration tasks, including onboarding & offboarding of employees.
- Taking accurate meeting notes and producing ad hoc letters throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the club.
- Provide comprehensive and efficient administration, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and enhanced efficiency withing the department.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and systems.
- Accurately maintaining employee data held on the HR system.
- Managing the induction process for new starters
- Assist with the recruitment lifecycle & support the interview process.

**SKILLS, ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE**
- A strong background in Administration with a desire to progress to HR Advisor.
- Can prioritise your workload, adjust time frames according to priorities and provide timely updates as required.
- Have excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent people and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent planning and organisational abilities
- Ability to build and maintain strong and long-lasting relationships
- A willingness and ability to work flexibly in a friendly, fast-paced, and dynamic environment
- Excellent IT Skills
- Can do attitude.
- Self motivated and able to act on initiative.
