**HR Administrator**

**Newcastle under Lyme**
- **£21,000 - £23,000 per annum (based on previous experience)**:

**What will I be doing as a HR Administrator?**
- Assist the Head of Recruitment & HR to provide an effective HR support service for all colleagues across all function of Edison Young People, including Care, Education and Central Office colleagues.

**What would be expected from me as a HR Administrator?**

− Manage the HR Inbox and deal with day-to-day queries.

− Ensure that all colleague personnel changes are documented and updated on relevant systems and databases.

− Work alongside managers in ensuring data contained in HR systems and databases is accurate and up to date.

− Ensure strong colleague engagement, through periods such as long term sick, suspensions and any other support that may be needed.

− Act as notetaker in formal meetings and collate all relevant information.

− Produce and submit reports on general HR activity, compile reports and spreadsheets.

− Keep track of probationary reviews for colleague support and informing line managers of when this is approaching and sending confirmation letters.

− Carrying out file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained.

− Collate and report on exit interviews for leavers.

− Assisting with payroll including ensuring new starters, leavers, pay changes, absences and contract variations are tracked in the systems.

− Leading and co-ordinating the operation of colleague recognition schemes.

− Supporting the Head of HR in the developing and operating colleague listening and responding forums.

− Act as internal communication point of contact, taking ownership of current tools.

− Working with the Head of HR to further develop the company’s engagement, recognition, and wellbeing schemes.

− Co-ordinate Occupational Health referrals and act as wellbeing contact for colleagues away from work.
