We are looking for a Band 3 theatre administrator to join our team at Withybush General Hospital on a full time basis.

The post holder will provide and maintain a comprehensive and efficient secretarial and administrative service to the multi disciplinary team (MDT), acting on own initiative to resolve problems, taking appropriate action when necessary.

The post holder will provide a full range of secretarial and administration services to all members of the MDT.

The post holder will be responsible for maintaining records both manually and on a computer system and demonstrate the ability to handle sensitive and confidential patient information

The post holder will provide a contact point for staff, patients, relatives and outside agencies as required.

Other duties include running the reception desk and coordinating the smooth running of scheduled theatre lists.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Hywel Dda University Health Board is the planner and provider of NHS healthcare services for people in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and its bordering counties. Numerous locations providing mental health and learning disabilities services;
Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales.
