Events & Office Coordinator

**Event and Office Coordinator to support busy Pub, Restaurant and Events Venue.**
- Plan, organise, and execute events such as weddings and parties
- Create and manage event budgets, menus and customer correspondence
- Create event timelines and schedules to ensure smooth execution
- Oversee event setup, including decorations, seating arrangements, liaison with kitchen etc
- Coordinate staff to ensure all event tasks are completed efficiently
- Manage day-to-day office admin, enquiries, banking, filing of invoices, management of systems and processes
- Provide on-site support during events to address any issues or concerns that may arise
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in event planning or coordination in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers, vendors, and staff
- Strong upselling skills to promote additional services or upgrades
- Exceptional time management skills to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Hospitality mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional guest services
- Basic bookkeeping or management of invoice process an advantage
- Good knowledge of Excel, PPT and Word required
- Effective people management / resource planning
- Strong organisational skills to keep track of event details and ensure nothing is overlooked
We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: £10.50-£11.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
