The EECL Supply Chain Regional Interface will work as part of the EECL leadership team, specifically taking accountability for the following areas, covering a number of regions:

- Allocations/planning of vaccine distribution - taking inbound supply and managing the process of allocation through regions and down to site level
- Working closely with selected regions and system-level stakeholders providing information and data-driven insights to enable them to optimise their ‘pull’ of vaccine volumes to match demand and supply most accurately
- Investigate and challenge performance of ICSs and sites with the region in order to understand what additional support and focus is required

(e.g. high/low performing sites, high/low throughput)
- Challenge and act as a strategic advisor to senior regional colleagues in optimising their programme plans as well as supporting the planning of future cohorts
- Maintenance of operational stock models to inform decision making on vaccine distribution
- Operational management of vaccine stock to ensure sufficient stock is available at each point in the vaccine supply chain

Please note that the reason for fixed term of your contract is Short-term time limited project.
- Liaison with other supply chain partners (UKHSA, specialist logistics providers) to ensure stock is managed and placed optimally in the network
- Act as the principal point of contact interfacing into the leadership team of a specific delivery model (i.e. Hospital Hubs/Vaccination Centres
- LVS Covered separately)
- Development and strategy for future changes to the model for regional and system engagement to continually optimise and develop ways of working
- Reporting, KPI design and performance management on stock levels and regional performance
- Interface with other areas of EECL (e.g. planning and analytics team, estates) to feedback regional insights to enhance modelling and assumptions
- Provide management information to model supply scenarios and support decision-making

- Develop and implement qualitative and quantitative measures to determine performance against the organisational strategy. Report progress against the strategy through personal representation at senior management forums and by written reports. Tailoring delivery to meet the needs of the audience.
- Ensure that best practice is developed and delivered at organisational and departmental levels. Challenge ways of working and persuade, motivate and influence other senior managers to realign their practice where necessary.
- Ensure that appropriate strategies are employed in line with business objectives and that these are fully cascaded.
