A new **Senior Finance Analys**
**t **role has now become available on a **6 month fixed term**
**contract **basis. This role is **Hybrid** working 2 days a week in the amazing Hatfield Head offices and 3 days working from home

The Finance team at Ocado is an integral part of the company, providing business partnering, insight and reporting & analysis on performance. You will be working closely with various departments around Ocado, including operational teams and Partnership Managers. As a key member of the Solutions Finance team providing financial support across all partners and areas of the team which include:
Providing key business insight to the senior management teams and stakeholders. Own periodic reporting, budgeting and forecasting of the financial performance. Develop reports and analysis to give insight into operational cost base by key drivers, process improvements across the team including monthly reporting and NPV modelling to evolve current ways of working and improve the financial processes.

**What else will you be doing?**
- Providing value adding financial insight, support and challenge to the Ocado Solutions Commercial team by building effective
- working relationships including Senior Managers and with other departments in the business
- Support the development of business case modelling for Ocado Solutions
- Work closely and build an effective relationship with the commercial team to provide value adding insight and financial advice into
- management discussions
- Produce periodic management packs, analysis and commentary and present to Partnership managers and SFM/Head of Finance
- Financial support for Finance Manager - review contract terms and undertake client profitability reviews annually
- Assist in the Budget and Forecast process for Ocado Solutions. Reviewing allocated costs from other business areas and provide
- a healthy challenge; understand key drivers for revenue and costs.
- Continually identify and implement improvements to business processes to increase efficiency and ensure all costs are recorded
- accurately in the accounts. Challenge and review results to seek opportunities to increase income/reduce costs and risks
- Develop models to explain the cash flow impact of different scenarios
- Preparation of information / schedules for audit and external reporting
- Maintain and enhance financial controls ensuring accuracy and robustness of reporting and continue to develop reporting for the
- Solutions business

**About you**

**Essential skills and experience required**
- You must be a fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACA/ ACCA or equivalent) with minimum of +2 years PQE experience
- Experience of reporting period management accountant, analysis and commentary
- Experience of budgeting and forecast
- Strong Excel skills

**Not essential but an added advantage**:

- Experience of business partnering with external customers/ stakeholders
- System skills including mainstream accounting packages e.g. Oracle, Hyperion
