Working Hours for this role will be 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Applicants must have excellent computer skills and desire to learn in order to carry out general administrative duties and scanning. The ability to prioritise the challenges of a varied daily workload is desired.

The post holder will have particular responsibility for prescriptions, scanning, dealing with enquires, typing and receipt/dispatch of correspondence. A high degree of confidentiality, sensitivity, discretion, and tact is required.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Delivering the technical aspects of prescription preparation to ensure the safe prescribing of medicines.
- The post holder is required to undertake general administrative duties including photocopying, scanning, faxing, sending out mail/distributing mail.
- Provide an efficient administration service as part of a Team to ensure the smooth running of the prescription support to our clinicians.
- IT skills are essential.
- To receive and deal with telephone and other enquiries regarding prescriptions from patients and referring GPs.
- To pass letters to the relevant GPs for initial assessment.
- Any other duties that may be reasonably expected of the post holder for the provision of services as directed by the Practice Manager.
