Press/media coordinator
- Hybrid role with central London office
- Immediate start with ongoing commitment
My client is a national instution and well known charitable organisation. Their headquarters are in central London, closes to Parliament and central Government departments. Easily accessible and they offer hybrid working.
They are currently recruiting for a Communications Coordinator to fill in for at least 2 - 3 months. This could lead to a permanent role for the right person
Duties will include
- monitoring incoming press and media queries
- monitoring inboxes
- assisting with press releases
- updating web pages
- planning media conferences - in-person and online
- coordinating invitations and media passes
- assisting with research
- monitoring press responses
- general admin support to team
About you
- previous experience in a media or communications role
- solid office experience
- able to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong communication skills, able to deal with a wide range of people both internally and externally
- able to commute to central London
- available to start ASAP and commit for at least 3 months
We are ideally aiming to have somebody start on or close to Mon 11 September
