Butler Rose specialist finance agency, is currently collaborating with a Head of Finance to recruit a part-time Finance Assistant for a startup Private Office located in central London. The role will require working three days per week, with one day per week spent in a shared office space.

The role requires working three days per week, with one day spent in a shared office space near Oxford Circus.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Maintaining working papers and internal records using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Assisting in the preparation of standard processes to formalize the mechanics of the private office.
- Preparing basic financial and numerical data, such as tracking monthly expenditure and budgeting.
- Performing bookkeeping tasks.
- Drafting sales invoices.
- Administering paperwork for investment transactions and reviewing legal documentation for sales and purchases.
- Assisting with the administration of large property refurbishment projects, including monitoring liquidity requirements and paying contractor invoices.
- Assisting with the HR function of the Private Office, including payroll, employee contracts, pensions, and benefits for 5-10 staff members.
- Liaising with third-party advisors, such as offshore trustees and business associates.
- Undertaking any other appropriate ad hoc projects.

Skills required:

- A bachelors degree and/or studying towards AAT qualifications.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software, primarily Outlook and Excel.
- Commercial and financial literacy.
- Experience working in a single or multi-family office is an advantage

Remuneration:

- £33,000 per annum (full-time equivalent).
- Discretionary bonus.
