Buckingham Palace is currently undergoing a ten-year programme of works to overhaul to Palace’s infrastructure wing by wing - including electrical cabling, plumbing and heating - for the first time since the 1950s.
In this exciting role, you’ll be part the Reservicing Operations Team who oversee the operational impacts of the Reservicing Programme and ensure Royal Household activities can continue alongside construction works.
You'll join a small team responsible for supporting the delivery of all operations and engagement activities performed by the team. As a key interface for a range of internal stakeholders, you'll consult with those impacted by the Programme, and produce clear communications to keep the Household up-to-date and engaged with what’s happening.
You’ll support the Engagement and Operations Manager with organising engagement events, workshops, and producing content for communication channels. You’ll also support in the preparation of briefing papers for various committees and governance bodies.
You’ll act as a contact for queries, interacting with members of the Household and external stakeholders to promote the Programme, while also providing a wide range of assistance to the Reservicing Operations Team.
You’ll also support the Moves and Operations team in the administration of moves and decants across the building. You’ll ensure that stakeholders are informed and their requirements are met.
Whilst the programme won’t come without its challenges, your effective planning and organisational awareness will help minimise disruption to Household operations.

About you
Experience of relevant projects would be an advantage. However, it’s your exceptional planning and communication skills, along with the ability to prioritise varied work streams and deadlines that will make you an asset to the team.
You’ll have strong administration skills, and will be looking to take on a new challenge that will develop you further.

Proactive, with high levels of initiative, you’ll be able to react effectively to changing circumstances, relying on your own judgement to find solutions to daily issues.
As an adaptable, approachable and engaging communicator, with a strong customer focus, you'll be confident building strong working relationships with internal and external colleagues alike.
Digitally fluent, you’ll quickly get to grips with bespoke systems and use MS Office with ease.
You’ll also have a good eye for detail, and be able to produce accurate and clear written communication for a variety of different audiences.
